• Unexpected signal from the vehicle
• Cable is not connected/locked properly

– Automatic power reduction if overheating occurs “uninterrupted charging operation”
• Reduction of charging capacity if the ambient temperature is too high
• Reduction of dirty or damaged charging contacts through direct measurement of socket temperature
• Increase of charging capacity after the system has cooled down
